Deserts

This post is for anyone who can find information on deserts.
Here's a quick fact: 100 square metres of ordinary land is turning to desert a day.
What do you think is causing this to happen?

Hmmm...

I think that 'desert spread' happens because wind spreads the the sand, causing the desert to spread.

Desert foxes are cool!

Thanks Flower Kitty.

Another reason is areas around the desert are also very dry and often crops are re-planted in the same spot and it sucks up all the nutrience causing the soil to turn to dust.
